    To play loosely or aggressively, especially when these betting tendencies are accompanied by a reckless or lively demeanor.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Term may have originated as a reference to the fact that a player behaving in such a way is more likely to splash the pot than a serious player.

    EXAMPLE: "I was drunk and splashing around. Yikes, it was fun but definitely not worth the amount I lost that night."
