Snap Off

  1. Verb

    To win with a weak or mediocre hand, either by defeating a bluff or weaker hand or by receiving additional cards that improve one's hand sufficiently.

    EXAMPLE: "I could tell my opponent was bluffing. Even though I only had bottom pair, I figured it was good and snapped off the bluff."
