Bet After the Declare

  1. Noun

    A type of high-low split game in which there is an additional round of betting between the declaration and the showdown or in which there is no additional round of betting but the final round is postponed until after the declare has occurred.

    EXAMPLE: "We were playing bet after the declare."

    To place a wager at any time between the declaration and the showdown.
