Noun
A player who attempts to knock out an opponent that has been assigned a bounty or who makes adjustments to tournament play based on the presence of bounties.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Not every player in a bounty tournament would be considered a bounty hunter, as some players may believe the prizes awarded for a bounty are not large enough to warrant a change in strategy that might hurt one's chances of finishing in a better position.
EXAMPLE: "With a bounty on me, I play much more conservatively. Even though my opponents should know I have a strong hand when I am in the pot, the bounty hunters will play weak hands against me in the hopes of getting lucky."
