Verbal Declaration

  1. Noun

    In high-low split games, indicating the pot or pots in which a player will compete by stating this aloud; as opposed to chip declare.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This method is often preferred in private or informal games because it can be faster and easier than a chip declare.

    EXAMPLE: "We were playing verbal declaration rather than chip declare."
