    To make a wager that has little or no chance of succeeding; to raise, rereaise, or call despite a negative expected value.

    EXAMPLE: "I typically like to vary my playing style since it keeps my opponents guessing, but when I play online I usually just play tightly. It is worth waiting for a good hand because there are so many maniacs that there is always someone who will donate when I raise."
