Dealer Advantage

  1. Noun

    The informational or other edge gained due to being seated in the dealer position; the edge provided in a dealer-advantage game.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: One of the most common forms of dealer advantage include the additional information that comes from being the last to act.

    EXAMPLE: "I might not typically play K-10 offsuit against the other players at the table, but since I had the dealer advantage I thought it would be worth playing that time."
