Chip Up

  1. Verb

    To exchange chips of low denomination for chips of a higher denomination.

    EXAMPLE: "As the blinds increased and players were eliminated in the tournament, the organizers decided that it was time to have everyone chip up. There was no sense playing with chips smaller than the minumum required bet."
