Connectors

  1. Noun

    Cards of consecutive rank, especially in reference to a player's downcards.

    SAMPLE HAND:

    EXAMPLE: "When there are a lot of players, I usually play connectors even if they're offsuit. I usually fold them when the table is shorthanded, though, because the odds of making a straight are too low to justify chasing a small pot."
