Common Card

  1. Noun

    Cards dealt face-up on the table that are visible to all players and which may be used by any player, especially as used in games that do not usually have community cards but require one because there are not enough cards in the deck to deal the remainder of the hand; community cards; board cards; widow cards; as opposed to an individual hand or a player's pocket cards.

    EXAMPLE: "There were so many people playing last hand that we had to use a common card."
