Noun
A deposit of additional chips to a given table, done by the casino or cardroom.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Many casinos and cardrooms allow players to purchase chips directly at the table rather than at the cage. In order to accommodate this, the store of chips at each table must be periodically replenished.
EXAMPLE: A player asks "Can I get $100 in yellows?" The dealer may respond "I'm running low on yellows. Is there anyone who can color up some yellows while I'm waiting on a fill?"
APPLIES TO: Land-based Venues
