Fold

  1. Verb

    To forfeit a hand; mucking one's cards, relinquishing any potential claim to the pot, and withdrawing from any further action on that hand.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In some situations, the player has an option of revealing their cards upon folding rather than mucking them facedown.

    EXAMPLE: "All I had was a king high, so I folded when my opponent raised."
