Floor

    A casino or cardroom employee responsible for overseeing a particular area of the facility or a particular group of dealers.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The floor may be called to the table to assist the dealer in a rules decision or to handle other incidents.

    EXAMPLE: When the dealer is unsure how to proceed in a given situation, the dealer may call out "Floor!"
