Four-card Rush

  1. Noun

    A streak of unsuccessful drawing hands; a series of hands in which a player has four out of five cards required to complete a hand but is not dealt the fifth necessary card.

    EXAMPLE: "I was on a four-card rush. I kept calling because I had pot odds to make the calls, but I just never got the cards I needed."
