Telegraph

  1. Verb

    To give away a tell; to engage in a behavior or pattern of behavior that reveals information about one's cards or intentions.

    EXAMPLE: "When I noticed that one of my opponents reliably telegraphs strong hands, I was able to tighten up my game on those hands and ended up making a lot of good decisions to fold."

  2. Verb

    To cheat by secretly sharing information with a partner in the same game; to employ a pre-arranged verbal or non-verbal code as a means to give information to a collusion partner who is playing at the same table.

    EXAMPLE: "There were two crooks telegraphing here last week, but the house caught them."
