Table Charge
Noun
Time collection; seat charge; a fee based on length of time played or number of hands played that is paid to the casino or cardroom for the service of hosting the game; as opposed to rake.
EXAMPLE: "It was 3 hours with a table charge of $12/hr, so my total came to $36. Not bad, considering I would have paid more than that with a 5% rake."
APPLIES TO: Online and Land-based Venues
