Leg Up

  1. Adjective

    Who has won the first of two consecutive hands necessary for a kill pot; who won the previous pot in a kill game.

    EXAMPLE: "I was a leg up. Since the game was a little below the stakes I usually play and I was hoping for a kill pot, I decided to play my hand even though it was marginal."
