Kill Button

  1. Noun

    A disk used to track which player will be responsible for posting a kill or to identify the player who posted the kill in an ongoing hand.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Example: In a game in which a player who wins two consecutive hands is required to kill the pot, a player may be given the kill button after winning one hand to indicate that if the player wins the next hand a kill will be required. If the pot were killed, that player would retain the kill button until the next hand.

    EXAMPLE: "I'm a leg up. Can someone hand me the kill button?"
