Lowball
Noun
Any variation of poker in which the traditional hand rankings are reversed such that the lowest hand wins in a showdown rather than the highest hand winning.
EXAMPLE: "Before starting to play Omaha high-low for money, I played a lot of lowball games with my friends. Since I was used to playing for high hands, the practice with low helped me adjust to the split games."
