Live Hand

  1. Noun

    A hand that retains a stake in the pot; a hand that has not been fouled or folded; a hand belonging to an active player; active hand.

    EXAMPLE: Player A says, "Hey, it's your action." Player B responds, "No it's not. I folded during the last round of betting. I don't have a live hand."

  2. Noun

    A hand that has outs remaining; a hand that is not drawing dead.

    EXAMPLE: "I was a big underdog, but at least I had a live hand."
