Straddle; a voluntary blind wager twice the size of the big blind and that may be made only by the player to the immediate left of the big blind.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Placing this wager entitles that player to act last in the round while retaining the choice to raise or reraise. This additional betting option is not used in all cardrooms or all blind games.
EXAMPLE: "I was under the gun but gained some position by making the restraddle."
