Re-buy Period

  1. Noun

    The time in a tournament within which a player may pay an additional entry fee to begin again or in which a player may purchase additional chips after losing a certain amount; the portion of a tournament in which players are eligible to re-buy.

    EXAMPLE: "I tend to play more aggressively in the re-buy period because I still have an opportunity to keep playing even if I lose all my chips."
