Rangdoodles

  1. Noun

    A temporary increase in stakes for one hand due to an event that occurred in the previous hand.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: May also be referred to as whangdoodles, wangdoodles, or roodles. As long as all players agree, any event may be used to determine if stakes will increase on the next hand. Two commonly used events are having a particularly high hand appear on the showdown or having a pot that exceeds a certain level.

    EXAMPLE: "We were playing 5-card draw with rangdoodles after any player showed a hand higher than Aces full."
