Reraise

  1. Verb

    To raise after an opponent has already raised; to increase the required wager more than an opponent has already increased it.

    EXAMPLE: "I bet out, my opponent raised, and another opponent reraised."

    An increase in the size of the required wager that occurs after a player has already raised; any raise after the first one.

    EXAMPLE: "I bet, then there was a raise and a reraise. I would probably have called if it was just the raise by itself, but I didn't have a strong enough hand to call with a raise and a reraise ahead of me."
