Redeal
Verb
To collect each player's cards and distribute new cards because a mistake was made in the initial distribution, such as dealing the wrong number of cards or dealing out a player who was supposed to be dealt in.
EXAMPLE: "I gave everyone six cards instead of five, so we redealt the hand."

The collection of each player's cards and distribution of new cards after an error has been made.
EXAMPLE: "I made a mistake when dealing initially, but at least I didn't mess up again on the redeal."
