Partially Wild

  1. Adjective

    That may be used as other specified cards or that may be used as a wild card or cards in specified circumstances, such as when used to complete a flush or a straight.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In some poker variations, the joker is added to the deck and functions as a partially wild card.

    EXAMPLE: "We were playing 5-card draw with jokers partially wild. The jokers could be used as Aces, to complete a straight, to complete a flush, or to complete a straight flush, but not for any other purposes."
