    A group of cards; a portion of the deck.

    EXAMPLE: "I pulled a packet from the middle of the deck rather than from the bottom of the deck when I was cutting, and a friend told me I was performing a Scarne cut. I just thought I was being fancy. I didn't know it had its own name."
