High

  1. Adjective

    That is played using the traditional hand rankings; in which the highest-ranked hand wins; as opposed to games played for low.

    EXAMPLE: A player asks, "Anyone want to play some Pot-Limit Omaha High-Low?" Another player might respond, "I'd rather just play Pot-Limit Omaha High."

    In a high-low split game, a hand that is contending for the high portion of the pot or that has won the high portion of the pot.
