Hold-out Machine

  1. Noun

    Any tool designed to help a cheater hide cards and then reintroduce them to the game at a later point; a device used to hold out.

    EXAMPLE: "Even though nobody saw the actual cheating, the cardroom caught a player with a hold-out machine and banned the player for life."
