    Hosting facility; the casino or poker room that provides for operation of the games. Used exclusively when the service is provided in exchange for some form of payment rather than to describe the organizers in a social game among friends.

    EXAMPLE: "The house comped me dinner after I'd been playing for a while."

    Full house; a hand containing both a three of a kind and a pair, such as Qs-Qh-Qd-7s-7d; the hand ranking immediately below four of a kind and immediately above a flush.

    EXAMPLE: "I beat my opponent's three of a kind with a house."
