    The pocket cards 5-7, suited or offsuit.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Nickname originates from the slogan "57 Varieties" displayed on many products from the H. J. Heinz Company.

    EXAMPLE: "I was dealt Heinz on the big blind and made a pair of fives on the flop. It was bottom pair, so I folded when an opponent bet."

  2. Noun

    A variation of baseball in which fives and sevens are wild cards rather than threes and nines and acting as wild. In some variations of Heinz, players are dealt an additional card if they receive a four face-up. In some games, players may also be required either to double the size of the pot or fold if dealt a five face-up.

    EXAMPLE: "We were playing Heinz, and I made five of a kind."
