Kill Pot

  1. Noun

    A hand in which the betting limits are increased from the game's ordinary limits due to certain pre-determined criteria having been met; a hand in which there is a kill in effect.

    EXAMPLE: Player A says, "I'll call" while putting $2 into the pot before the flop in a $2/$4 limit game with a full kill. Player B responds, "You're short $2 for the call. It?s a kill pot."
