Kicker Trouble
Noun
A weaker kicker than that held by an opponent with a hand of the same rank.
EXAMPLE: "I used to keep A-6 offsuit before the flop, but I've learned to fold it more often. If you pair the 6, that is probably not strong enough to win. Even if you pair the Ace, there is a chance an opponent also paired the Ace, and then you've probably got kicker trouble. It is just a tough hand to play well."
