Ideal Edge Odds

  1. Noun

Edge odds of 1:1 or 100%; an indication of consistent top winnings for a given series of game sessions with a particular group of players.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: While theoretically possible, the expected runs of bad cards one would expect due to chance make it highly improbable that any player would have ideal edge odds. However, if edge odds are calculated for only one given session, the biggest winner in that session will always have ideal edge odds.

EXAMPLE: "Ideal edge odds are virtually impossible to achieve even with perfect play. I concentrate on just playing my best game instead of getting caught up in theoretical fantasies."

APPLIES TO: Online and Land-based Venues
