White Chip

    A token representing the lowest wager amount possible in a given casino or cardroom; a chip of low denomination.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Most commonly refers to $1 chips in regular play and $100 chips in higher-stakes play, but may be used to represent other denominations.

    EXAMPLE: "I didn't think my hand would hold up on the showdown, but it was only a few white chips to call so I paid off."
