Middles

  1. Noun

A cheating method in which a card or cards are dealt from the middle of the deck rather than from the top of the deck, either to keep a particularly strong or weak card on the top of the deck as in seconds dealing or because the cheater has placed specific strong or weak cards in the middle.

EXAMPLE: "Even if people say they just learned in order to do card tricks, I'm not interested in playing with anyone who knows middles. For that matter, I'm not interested in playing with anyone who can do any other dealing tricks, either."

    APPLIES TO: Land-based Venues
