Noun
A cash prize awarded to a player who meets certain criteria, especially a bad beat jackpot.
EXAMPLE: "I like to play at tables that offer a jackpot. If the jackpot is large enough, some players will stay in a hand trying to get the jackpot when they would have otherwise folded. That change in opponents' play can increase profitability enough to make up for the extra cost from the jackpot drop."
APPLIES TO: Online and Land-based Venues
