Known for his ability to meltdown, termed a “Mike Matusow Blow-up,” during big tournament play as much as his ability to win. His rivalry with Phil Hellmuth has attracted some of the highest television poker ratings ever. Matusow was arrested in 2002 for trafficking illegal substances and was sentenced to six months in federal prison.
