Las Vegas visitor wins over $110,000

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A Las Vegas visitor made a trip to The Orleans Hotel and Casino that he’ll never forget, after hitting Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot Wednesday, 20 September, for a payday of more than $110,000.

The guest who hails from California and requested to remain anonymous, was playing Face Up Pai Gow Poker with his wife Wednesday evening when he hit a seven-card straight flush (eight to ace of clubs with a joker), capturing a Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of $110,363.

Six Boyd Gaming destinations are participants in the Company’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive, including The Orleans, Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa, Cannery Casino and Hotel, Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, and Suncoast Hotel and Casino. By offering the Pai Gow Poker progressive at multiple destinations citywide, players have a shot at winning a much larger jackpot than individual properties could offer.

It has been a summer of wins at Boyd Gaming properties in Las Vegas. On 29 July, a valley local took home a $338,703.99 Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot after hitting a seven-card straight flush at The Orleans, in addition to a dragon bonus side bet of $5,000. On 8 August, a lucky guest at Gold Coast hit the Pai Gow 5 Aces Progressive Jackpot to win more than $21,000, along with an additional $2,000 on the Fortune Bonus.

Boyd Gaming’s Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot has reset at $75,000.
