888 Poker continues as key World Series of Poker sponsor
 

(PRESS RELEASE) -- 888 Poker, one of the world’s most popular online poker destinations, is delighted to announce the continuation of its sponsorship of the World Series of Poker for the sixth consecutive year.

This agreement will see 888poker resume its prominent sponsorship of the world’s most prestigious poker series, which is expected to host a record number of players at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, starting from 26 May. The event will also be broadcast online and on TV via ESPN and PokerGo, providing millions of spectators live access to the thrilling series.

In the build up to the main event, 888poker is the only operator that offers poker players from outside the US the opportunity to qualify through its online platform and will host various online promotions and campaigns including multi-step satellite tournaments, with buy-in starting from as little as 1 cent. Starting on 23 February and ending 14 June, every weekend, players will have the chance to win a $15,000 WSOP 2020 MEGA package, that includes $10,000 buy-in to the luxury WSOP Main Event, $888 buy-in to the Crazy 8’s side event, travel and accommodation*. In addition, all 888poker LIVE circuit main event winners will get a 2020 WSOP Main Event package on top of their prize money.

The 2019 WSOP had a record 187,298 entries, creating a 50-year high of $293,183,345 in prize money.

  • The 2020 WSOP Main Event starts on 1 July 2020 with the WSOP MEGA package including accommodation for 26 June to 8 July.
