Beau Rivage Casino announces Million Dollar Heater Event results

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is pleased to announce the Million Dollar Heater Event 1 through 11 results. Read below for more information about each event winner.

Event 1 $600,000 Guaranteed ($400 Buy-In) attracted 2,612 entrants and paid out the top 203 players from the $861,960 total prize pool. This is the first time in Event 1 history that the prize money for first place surpassed $100,000. Schuyler Thornton from Corpus Christi, TX took home $68,040 after an ICM chop.

Event 2 No-Limit winner Joseph Hebert, from Metairie, LA took home the $12,240 first place prize.

Event 3 Big O winner James Kennedy from Sheffield, OH won $8,501
Event 4 Heads Up No Limit Hold ‘em winner William Scarsdale of Harrison, AR took home $5,763.

Event 5 One Day No Limit Hold’em winner Trung Pham from Temple, TX won $13,847 from the $41,949 total prize pool.

Event 6 Limit Omaha 8 or Better winner Joseph Sherman from Lafayette, LA won $5,176.

Event 7 the Seniors $50,000 Guarantee winner Bobby Moore from Pearl River, MS won $14,656. The senior event drew in a total of 400 entries and resulted in a $94,800 total prize pool.

Event 8 Pot Limit Omaha winner Marco Moran of Columbia, LA took home $8,070.

Event 9 winner Yousef Saleh of Meridian, MS won $23,016 from the Monster Stack $100,000 Guarantee.

Event 10 a One Day No Limit Hold’em was won by John Cressend of Metairie, LA who walked away with $8,322.

Event 11 a Bounty No Limit Hold’em offered up $4,816 to first place winner Randy Gordon of Metairie, LA.
